Actually it's not, but what you look like when you're performing does play a big role! Here's just some advice! (:
  1.  Dress the part. Don't dress like a prep if you're playing metalcore music. And don't wear all black and chains if you're playing an all acoustic set. 
  2. It's okay for guys to wear makeup! If you're a guy, and you really wanna wear makeup, don't be embarrassed! Nobody will make fun of you. A lot of famous male musicians proudly sport the guyliner, from Adam Lambert to Marilyn Manson to most of the emo/screamo people.
  3. Your appearance should reflect your onstage persona. Need I say more?

Advice for bands that are just starting out (:

These are just a few pointers that will help your band in the long run!
  1.  Get together for practice regularly (at least once a week should be good!) My band has some problems with this, so yeah, I shouldn't be talking. But the more you practice, the better you'll perform!
  2. Start a blog for your band! That way, you can keep your fans updated on what you've been doing without the confines of Facebook! If your band has a website see if there's a way you can put a blog on the site! Google Sites and Y...

What I've Been Up To...

So, while Wilted Roses has been on a little hiatus-y thing (for more info go to http://wiltedroses.yolasite.com/our-totally-amazing-blog.php) I've been trying to recruit more bands for PJAC! So far we've got Hollow Hearts, but unfortunately they won't be performing for a while (9 months they said! :c) since their drummer broke his shoulder,so we wish him a quick recovery! Soon, we'll also have a new hardcore band, Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My as part of PJAC once they get all their member...
